"Possible solutions of varying nature"

"Pulvis es et in pulverem reverteris: dust you are and dust you will return"

Dust… a bit sad, a bit difficult to manage; the same for earth: they don't give back what I mean and feel.

Sand.

Sand, that was born or just is near seas, rivers, lands, near life and silence, sand that makes possible space and more.

From the physical memory of how she welcomes and gives back the heat of the sun, of how she scratches, of how she changes colour according to the damp.

To make concrete, to create with the material that I have felt as the more suitable source for thoughts and reflections that I have done and felt.

I have regarded the primordial dust,

me in this moment, meat and bones,

all the worlds, the ones inside, the ones outside: transformation, here it is what we are.

But we can’t know there who or what we have been, at least not so easily.

I have supposed, imagined to be dust, and going again acreoss some transformations.

At home or walking and looking around with this point of view: the history of objects, feelings and imagination tied up to them.

I could have been a flower, later become dust again.

That dust could have fed everything: trees, animals, other men, bricks; or simply settled on shelves or things.

From the world I lived, I have selected what, as the wind, has come to my eyes attractive of vital reflections, the I have brought near the sand, and I have let the emotions find out possible solutions of materials, containing a possible story, or a moment of it, and possible future transformations.

Sand as a core, materials and colours as seeds, my sculptures as possible solutions and sons.

That is how two kinds of sculptures spontaneously came out from me for me, thr first one I have called "Naturali" linked with my memories and feelings, and the second one called " Nuovi composti chimico - naturali", where I let that the met materials took me.
